We are an internationally operating pharmaceutical company specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality medicinal cannabis products.
Materia Deutschland GmbH was founded in June 2018 in Hamburg and is an importer, manufacturer, and distributor of medicinal cannabis products. We supply pharmacies and wholesalers across Germany with medicinal cannabis products such as cannabis flowers, cannabis extracts, and dronabinol (THC).
For warehousing and delivery, Materia works with highly experienced, certified, and audited logistics partners to ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods.
The continuous supply to pharmacies and patients is a priority and is ensured through the careful selection of delivery partners.
Materia is a supporting member of the Association of Cannabis Supplying Pharmacies (VCA).
The goal of the VCA is to provide efficient and affordable access to medicinal cannabis for patients.

· License for handling narcotics (BtM) according to §3 BtMG or §4 MedCanG
· License for dispensing medicinal cannabis flowers that have been treated with ionizing radiation (“AmRadV”)
· Facility with a license for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals
· Pharmaceutical wholesale license according to §52a AMG
· Certification in Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
· Pharmaceutical manufacturing license according to §13 AMG
· Certification in compliance with the principles and guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
· Import license for pharmaceuticals according to §72 AMG
· Manufacturing and Import Authorization (MIA)
· License for handling narcotics (BtM) according to §3 BtMG or §4 MedCanG
